As far as I’m concerned, the sports year ends with the last pitch of the World Series and doesn’t start up again until pitchers and catchers report. But just to play along, I said I root for the Rams (I’m still a St. Louisan/Missourian in exile, not a Memphian/Tennesseean) and Northwestern (went there for law school, and therefore one NU game—vs. Ohio State—is the only college game I’ve ever attended), that I want to be a palm tree and like to eat out (I forget what that fifth question is…. and I should probably be grateful for that). They matched me up with the Saints.
There is some great cosmic significance to that, I feel, but I’ll be damned if I can figure it out.l
But the more I think of this, I have to say that at does beat Tommy Lasorda and the creepy organist girl by quite a bit….
[You had to be watching the MLB postseason to get that. If that reference went over your head, I apologize, and hope that at least one of your readers gets it.]
