Your SN moment of zen

I talk Ole Miss football and the legend of the Orgeron with Orson Swindle in Part 2 of the “Dirty South” roundup, the latest installment of the EDSBS Podcast.

It’s amazing how reading the Athlon SEC preview and my football conversation last month with Frequent Commenter Alfie can make me sound semi-expert on the topic.

I’m glad I’m good for something!

Just got finished listening to the podcast, nice job!

I liked your prediction of somewhere between 6 and 8 wins. If we get the 8th, I’ll differ with it being Auburn at home and, instead, go with UGA at home.

How many other professors have been asked, on recordable media, to assess the “ass factor” at his graduate school alma mater?

The zero at Notre Dame was a bit harsh, Tres alone makes it at least a 0.13.

Boy I sound dorky on tape.

Might very well be UGA. And good point on Tres, although I did know one cute girl in high school who went to ND.

You’ll note the 7 win prediction comes straight from Athlon, but I hedged it with the ±1.
