I had a phone interview, for a job I really thought I had a really, really, good shot at (isn’t self-delusion grand?) and got choked up (it was allergy season and my voice cut out) and here I am trying to get a drink of water and regain my momentum in mid-response.
I don’t think that it was a helpful event, shall we say.
