LSU/OSU in BCS Title Game

In case New Orleans didn’t have enough damn LSU fans in town, they’ll be out in full force for the BCS title game against Ohio State on January 7th, when thankfully I will be far, far away from the Crescent City.

Who could hate this outcome more than a Michigan fan? Not only does their archrival tOSU play for a national title, but now there’s no way Les Miles backs out of his commitment to stay at LSU instead of going to coach the Wolverines. At least my loyalties will be less conflicted than a Michigander’s: go Buckeyes!

I am finished with college football. It is a complete joke. Illinois plays in the rose bowl. Missouri beats Illinois and get no BCS bid. Ohio State doesn’t even play all teams in its own league and plays for the National Championship. LSU can’t even stay in contention and has to back in like Ohio State. It is a joke and I will not watch 1 bowl game. College football is a joke.

No dilemma for this Michigan fan: Miles delenda est. Heaven help me, but I’ll be rooting for Cheatypants McSweatervest.

To add insult to injury, Mizzou beat Kansas, too, and those damned Jayhawks are going to the BCS as well.

Jeebus.

Some of yall question who should be in the national title game…those of you who question obviously have no common sense…not to be rude or blount…just precise….obvioulsy LSU, as is, should be the team to play for the BCS Title…believed by many that the Sooners of Oklahoma should, again, be the opponent thats gets their tails whipped against the Bayou Bengals from Baton Rouge…11 – 2, YES…Losses in a complete regular ‘07 season…NO…but when details are looked upon and all aspects of each particular game are diagnosed…LSU has been one of the most consistant winning teams in the college football nation… against 7 top ranked teams…then and only then is the time where true fans of college football, however one looks at the situation, should gain the upmost respect for that particular institution and all it beholds not just on the field, but in the classroom as well…again the common sense factor comes in to play significantly for anyone doubting LSU deserving a spot in the Title game… i solely believe in whomever and however that one particular team makes it to the National Title game obviously earns the right to play for the college football nations most prestigious award…the LSU Tigers are in, with much dispute and most respect, they deserve it.
