Imagine our discomfort at being a group of 20 “gabachos” in a Mexican bar to watch the game. We were rooting for Mexico, but still. When they played the US anthem there were a handful of boos, and Brian suspects it would have been even worse if we weren’t there. They were being polite by not booing. They didn’t boo at all for the Costa Rica, Panama, or Guadaloupe games.
At least you got to see the game. Here in St. Louis on Charter it was on the Fox Soccer Channel, which is on one of the $5/month tiers that contains like six channels so isn’t worth getting.
Never knew you were into soccer; at least you didn’t waste $40 on Vengeance: Night of Champions which was one, IMHO, one of the worst PPVs in recent memory.
The September PPV, Unforgiven, is at FedExForum and since there is no way it can be worse than this stinker…
