Cold

Lucky me: I have apparently caught a cold. At least I only have to lecture in one of my two classes tomorrow—the other class gets to take a midterm. Lucky them.

Then you can infect them all via the exams.

Lucky them, indeed.

Maybe I should wear latex gloves and a surgical mask.

I’ll trade you straight-up: your cold for my sunburned beyond recognition face thanks to the game Saturday. I didn’t have any shade at all, no hat, no sunscreen, nothing. I am the boy in the bubble.

Ah, I did that a month ago—except, I was wearing a hat, so I just burned my arms and legs to a crisp. That was a fun week afterwards, let me tell you!

I’ll be wearing one of those hat things this weekend. I don’t care if it ends up being 19 with 14 inches of snow, I’m wearing a damn hat and I’ll have more sunscreen caked on my face than a sorority girl would have makeup on hers.

That said, the Rebels cover with a 12–0 win. They miss two extra points, one short; the other below the crossbar.
